THOUSANDS OF BARBADIANS flocked to the grounds of Kensington Oval to enjoy the offerings of the 2015 Hennessy Artistry Show which began about 9:30 p.m. Saturday and ended around 3:30 a.m. today.

Dancehall artist Popcaan, who was the penultimate act, arguably got the loudest crowd response. He had the crowd in a frenzy and even had a few fans who clung onto the stage for a touch of the Jamaican-born artist. His set included hits like Party Shot, Weed is my best friend and When Mi Party.

Jah Cure kicked off the headliners segment, while veteran entertainer Anthony B closed the show.

Keyshia Cole ran through her catalogue of R&B hits. Though she received a lukewarm response during the earlier parts of her set, she really seemed to hit the right notes with women the audience during I Remember and Heaven Sent.

The show began with soca medley. Kirk Brown and the Energy Band started the blend, followed by Don Trent who performed When Tomorrow Comes.

Lead Pipe and Saddis performed after, followed by King Bubba FM with Who Drinking Rum and Mashup When Ah Touchdown. (TSG)
