Career choice shift

THERE SEEMS to be a shift of focus among some children from academic career choices to those in the technical areas.

This is based on feedback from the youth career showcase held yesterday at the Sir Hugh Springer Auditorium at the Barbados Workers’ Union (BWU) Solidarity House headquarters.

Serena Browne, youth coordinator of the BWU, said the event came out of the school outreach programme held in September for school leavers.
