JENNY BLANC INTERIORS LIMITED, the London-based internationally acclaimed design company with a design showroom in Barbados, has won a major international award for its work at the Apes Hill Golf & Polo Club in St James.
Jenn Blanc Interiors won the award for Best Interior Design Of A Private Residence when the Americas category of the 2015 International Property Awards (IPA) were recently hosted at Hilton Barbados.
Competing in the Caribbean section of the IPA event, the award winning design team submitted a family residence in Apes Hill, which was judged by a panel of 70 experts.
The Apes Hill private residence competed against the submissions of several of the region’s most accomplished interior designers and in the end Jenny Blanc walked away with a five-star award.
With such a high score, the company will now go on to represent the Americas in the final stage of the IPA competition next month in London. There it will be competing against other winning companies from Asia Pacific, Africa, Arabia, and Europe for the coveted crown of World’s Best Interior Design.
The award winning project at Apes Hill features “wonderful views of the golf course, towards the sea”, and the Jenny Blanc design team worked with architects to fine tune interior finishes and produce a property in keeping with their client’s aspirations for a house full of light, Caribbean elegance and tropical influences.
“We are all absolutely delighted to have won this impressive award which highlights the creativity and good work of our team in Barbados and London. We are looking forward to the finals and hoping for even bigger things in December,” said Jenny Blanc.
The company, which opened its Barbados office in Holetown in 2011, has won several international awards for projects over the past eight years. (SC/PR)
