THE MAN WHO WAS ARRESTED in a police operation at Belle Road, St Michael last week is facing almost 20 charges, including kidnapping and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
Michael Sylvester Marshall, 41, is facing one count each of kidnapping and unlawful possession of ammunition; two counts of illegal possession of firearms and two counts of resisting arrest.
In addition, he has been charged with seven counts of burglary and four for aggravated burglary.
According to a police media release, the aggravated burglaries took place at Richmond Plantation, St Peter last year, as well as Neil’s Plantation, St Michael and Union, St Philip this year.
Marshall was the subject of a missing notice in April last year.
He is expected to appear in Magistrates Court today. (PR/SAT)
