The local distributors of Ragu sauces have not imported any of those listed in the product recall.
Bryden Stokes Ltd said the three sizes of sauce they carried were not among those listed in the recall by manufacturers Mizkan America Inc., amidst fears they might contain plastic fragments.
The company warned, however, that it could not account for product “that may have been brought into the island through other unauthorised sources”.
