UPDATE: Fatal Fire in Bush Hall

Two people have perished in a fire at 1st Ave Alleyne’s Land, Bush Hall, St Michael.

Nation News understands an elderly woman who had dementia, and her son, said to be in his 50s, died in the fire earlier tonight.

Residents tried, but could not rescue them.

A car, which belonged to the man and was parked outside the home, was also extensively damaged.

Police and fire officials are on the scene, and a large crowd has gathered in the area, which is not far from the constituency office of Prime Minister Mia Mottley. (Nation Online)
