Seeking help for elderly man

A GOOD SAMARITAN is appealing for help for an elderly man in need.

Oliver Norville, who works as a sales executive at Nassco, said he could no longer stand by and watch 87-year-old Sidney Archer slowly shuffle his way past his workplace every day.

For the past three months Norville has been assisting Archer, a past student and teacher at Combermere, and finding out about him.

“For the last year I have seen him in a suit walking so slow to town, even in the rain. He walks from his home in Brittons Hill to the St Michael’s Cathedral every day. I really would like to get attention and help for him. I even put it on Facebook,” he said.
