Looks like the West Indies opener plans to continue to work on much more than opening the innings following his breakthrough six-wicket haul in the last Test against Sri Lanka in Colombo.
The Bajans arrived back home yesterday, and Brathwaite said that he was working on being more consistent while perfecting his bowling technique.
“[I need to work on] hitting better areas and ways to hold the ball so I can get more spin,” he said. However, when asked if he would have traded his six-wicket haul for a century to win the Test he said he was pleased with his accomplishments.
