Bulldozer operator plunges to his death

A BULLDOZER OPERATOR died on the spot after 1 p.m. when the vehicle he was operating plunged 100 feet to the bottom of Carrington Quarry, St Phillip.

Sixty-seven-year-old Anthony Walcott of the Belle, St Michael was an employee of Caribbean Aggregates Limited.

He was working at the top of a cliff when the earth reportedly gave away.

Walcott had more than thirty years’ experience as a bulldozer operator. (CA)
