IN KEEPING with its interest in encouraging the sustainable growth and development of the arts, the Frank Collymore Hall has selected a 100 per cent Barbadian all-star line-up for today’s and tomorrow’s City Nights shows.

This year’s event, City Nights – Influences, features the work of internationally acclaimed Barbadian artiste Nicholas Brancker along with guest artistes Edwin Yearwood, Alison Norville-Forde and Biggie Irie among others.

As homage to the Influences theme, Brnacker will be performing musical interpretations of the artistes who’ve touched his musical career and will bring his genius home with his own hits.

Speaking about the event, manager of the Frank Collymore Hall, Fran Wickham, noted, “As the cultural arm of the Central Bank of Barbados, the Frank Collymore Hall is committed to the development and sustainability of the creative arts, and this year’s City Nights promises to offer another high-quality and affordable show that we can all be proud of.

“Over the past few years we have successfully worked on revamping this annual production. We seized the opportunity to showcase Nicholas Brancker, one of Barbados’ iconic artistes, along with a mixture of well established and young, upcoming members of his band.” (PR)
