PUDDING AND SOUSE: ‘Massa’ gets dose of own medicine

This one is food for thought and could leave you licking your fingers. One of the dynamic duo who fired a manager for eating a bun has received a dose of his own medicine.

A customer told P&S that the head honcho treated a worker so shabbily that others within earshot cried shame of his Massa directives to the employee.

The news was a welcome relief to staff, but they wished the elder statesman had gone further and fired him instead of instructing him to take some time off as a result of his horrid actions.

Staff say they wish they could get back the elder statesman as their boss, but he has stepped back and now operates as an executive, and therefore is not hands-on in the running of the business on a day-to-day basis.

The dynamic duo, who are his offspring, are so dictatorial that everything that had been put in place by the elder statesman to make staff comfortable has virtually been removed and what has not been removed has been drastically cut.

Legal twist

A lawyer with an unquenchable thirst for clients’ land has handed over some files to his next of kin with strict instructions to continue business in a similar vein.

The big land deals that he left many pensioners crying blood over are now to be tied up as plans unfold to venture into new waters.

Some in the know say that the younger partner is doing his best to ease the situation as he feels some clients were too hard done by this Hitlerian master.

Some say it may not be long before there is a foul-up and someone needs to be bailed out.

Dangerous teen

A teenager who sees himself as the baddest boy on the block has struck again. The youth, who is known to police, has knocked a taximan upside down for talking out of his own mouth.

The taximan, who is known to sag as he walks, exchanged some friendly chatter with the youth then rubbed him a little about a fight in which he was involved, and came out the loser. Who tell he to do that!

The youth returned with half of a brick and knocked ”sagga boy” to the ground and fled the scene.

The youth, P&S has been told, has bragged, while on the block,  about he and his friends violently beating a watchman recently while he was on duty at a primary institution.

Residents say police need to revisit their interviewing techniques and take this youth and his lawless friends off the streets.

Churchwoman still on the block

A churchman who found the love of his life on the block and took her into the fold, may soon be feeling some heat.

Her workmates have told Pudding & Souse that she is so into the block culture that she finds it hard to resist the urge to pooch back and roll it while on the job.

A mother of four, they say that she has a tendency to gravitate towards the bad boys who come into the office to transact business, but hurries decent, respectable consumers out of the office with contempt.
