THE LEADER of the Opposition Barbados Labour Party (BLP) said last night that the party would not fall to any distractions or any of its current challenges.
Instead, Mia Mottley urged Members of Parliament to remain focused on delivering proper representation to the people of Barbados.
She issued the charge at the St Christopher Primary School where the first of three nominations were held ahead of the BLP’s annual conference later this month.
“Will we rise to the challenge of meeting those difficulties? Yes, we will. Will we remain focused on the mission at hand? Yes, we must because the people of Barbados believe the one political party has failed them. We cannot allow them to feel that the system has failed them because both political parties have not risen to the occasion,” she said.
