A FORMER top Government administrator is urging authorities not to turn their backs on past economic strategies as efforts continue to return the country to economic stability.
Carson Browne, a former permanent secretary in the Economic Affairs Division, said some of the information might still be useful.
In delivering the feature address during the division’s recent annual lecture series seminar at the Baobab Towers in Warrens, St Michael, he said creativity would be needed to deal with the long recession.
The former chief budget analyst was confident, however, that Barbados could overcome the ongoing challenges with input from all sectors, including the elderly and the youth.
