TWO EARTHQUAKES have been recorded off Barbados today by the University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre.
The latest occurred at 12:12 p.m. 143 kilometres to the northeast of Bridgetown. The 4.8 magnitude tremor was located at Latitude 13.81N and Longitude 58.53W at a depth of ten kilometres.
A 4.6 magnitude quake occurred at 8:41 a.m. in a similar area, Latitude 13.82N and Longitude 58.52W or 144 km northeast of the capital. This quake also had a depth of ten km. (NB)
