Afternoon quake to the northeast

A 4.0 MAGNITUDE earthquake was recorded off the northeast coast of Barbados this afternoon.

Around 1:28 p.m., the UWI Seismic Research Centre recorded the quake some 122 km off the coast of Bridgetown.

In the comments section of the Centre’s Facebook page, one person located in St Thomas said they felt the tremor. (SAT)
