THE ONGOING DROUGHT has forced organisers of the Spring Hall Land Lease project at Greenidges, St Lucy, in the direction of water rationing.

Some of the farmers on the project said that this decision was severely impacting the growth of their produce.

Timothy Blackman, a farmer for more than 20 years, said that the water they got was not enough to sustain the crops.

“If we get water today we will get it from 1 to 6 and tomorrow from 6 to 12, half day every day,” he said.
