BANKS WHICH HAVE been selling properties for less than they are valued may soon have a major fight on their hands.
One victim, Ann Riley-Fox, intends to do something about it and has called on all those who want to join her in challenging the system to email her at [email protected].
“Lots of Barbadians are losing their homes . . . It is not only me . . . Somebody needs to speak out about it. I want to start the conversation,” said Riley-Fox, a popular singer in the 1980s.
“There are people who have actually spoken to me. There are other people whom I speak with every day where you try to uplift each other’s spirits . . . But nobody is willing to do anything. Everybody is embarrassed and they don’t want (anybody to) know,” she added
