BHF turf on the way

A NEW ARTIFICIAL HOCKEY TURF at Wildey will almost certainly be installed in another few weeks.

That’s the word from president of the Barbados Hockey Federation, David Rouse.

“We believe the new AstroTurf would push hockey forward and we are looking to create a youth programme to improve the skills of national and international-level players within the country,” he said.

“The documents in relation to the AstroTurf have been received already and it is being worked on. If the turf is not in Barbados, it will arrive very soon.
