A CLASH BETWEEN In The Pink and Luckyluckyme spearheads today’s feature race, the Season of Emancipation Handicap over 1 570 metres.

The event, for three-year-olds and older horses rated 95-77, will see seven other contenders seeking glory in Race 7, on the Barbados Turf Club’s eighth day, the Season Of Emancipation Race Day, of its second season.

Both horses are in good form, with In The Pink taking 128 pounds and Luckyluckyme 111.

Also sharing the top impost here is Joshua, who finished second last outing, while Noble Intent (111 pounds) and Local Speed (114) are both capable of causing an upset.

Race 8, the Slavery Abolition Act 1833 Handicap over 1 800 metres appears very enticing, with no fewer than five horses that have tasted success in one of their last three starts.
