A HOUSEHOLD NAME in local football wants to have a crack at coaching the national football team.
Former Barbados captain and sweeper Ricardo “Cracker”Goddard told the WEEKEND NATION he was up for the challenge of taking football forward if given the chance to dictate the strategy.
“This is not about me. I love football. I want the sport to develop, but if I am given the job, I must have a solid support team that fully understand what is required to revive the sport and ensure we get better results.
“This is not going to be an easy assignment by any means. We are way behind the rest of the world, but it is not a lost cause. . . . “
