High-rise for sale

THE HIGH-RISE apartments at The Grotto, St Michael, could soon be on the market.

But the price is yet to be determined, says Minister of Housing and Lands Denis Kellman.

Almost a year after they were completed, the five buildings, comprising 16 units on four levels, remain unoccupied.

Kellman said while there had been much talk about them, the one thing that neither he nor his ministry officials would do was to rush important decisions.

The apartments were originally intended to be low-cost but, as a result of the eventual cost of construction, they will would now be put up for sale.
