They left it up to the very last game, but Orange 3 Pinelands are in the play-offs all the same, having overcome an upset-minded Combined Schools Tridents in Tuesday’s 82-59 victory at Co-operators General Insurance Basketball Premier League at the YMCA.
The win wrapped up the fourth and final berth – and a first-round date with Warriors – for the Pine, who had to win their regular season finale to avoid becoming the first defending champions to miss the postseason since Warrens did it in 2013.
