Tridents sit on top and wait

BARBADOS TRIDENTS defeated Guyana Amazon Warriors by 14 runs today to remain on top of the Hero Caribbean Premier League T20 Cricket Competition.

Tridents have 12 points from their ten matches, with Amazon Warriors, Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel, Jamaica Tallawahs and St Lucia Zouks (who have finished their matches) all on nine points.

They now await the outcome of two matches where hosts Red Steel take on the Tallawahs and then journey to Guyana against the Amazon Warriors.

Earlier, Red Steel defeated St Kitts & Nevis Patriots by 18 runs on the Duckworth Lewis Method to remain in the hunt.
