THIRTEEN PEOPLE are homeless after a fire at Jordan land, St Michael.
The fire which started at about 12:35 p.m. destroyed two houses and damaged another.
One destroyed house belonged to 67-year-old Carlita Carthy who lived alone. The other one was rented by Carthy’s two daughters Debra and Lisa Peters, a son-in-law and nine grandchildren.
Carthy was able to save a few personal items but nothing was saved from the other house.
Another house owned by Carthy received minor damage. (LK)
