TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CHANGES have been put in place to facilitate the 2015 Massy Pan Pun De Sand which will be held at Brandon’s Beach, St Michael on Sunday July 12.
Between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. Brighton Beach South Road from its junction with Brighton Beach Main Road will be closed to all vehicular traffic.
The same will apply to Spring Garden Highway from its junction with Brighton to the junction of Exmouth Road and the Spring Garden Highway.
No vehicles will be allowed to park or remain stationary along the following roads except for the purpose of picking up or setting down passengers:
Noone will be allowed to park or allow a vehicle to remain stationary along the following areas: Spring Garden, Exmouth Westbury Road, Passage Road, Country Road, Roebuck Street, Halls Road, Mencea Cox Roundabout, and Martindale’s Road.
Patrons will be permitted to park on the playing field on the eastern side of the Spring Garden Highway near Deacons Farm. Entry will be from Deacons Farm.
All motorists, pedestrians, riders or leaders of animals using the roads specified shall exercise caution and shall comply with the directions given by a member of the police force. (PR/NB)
