THE POST MORTEM on six-year-old Jahan King was conducted this morning at the morgue at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH).
Mother Lasonta Gill and both grandmothers, Margaret Gill and Enid Browne, were present. They were supported by Reverend David Durant.
Jahan died on June 29 at the QEH where he was taken by ambulance.
Breaking her silence, Lasonta she said was very confused about the situation and just wanted to give her son a decent burial. She and boyfriend Dwayne Marshall were questioned by police.
The Child Care Board has also announced it will be conducting a full review of the handling of the case as it had been referred to them by Margaret on several occasions.
Meanwhile, Police say they are awaiting the report from the pathologist. (MB)
