Breakfast with friends

BREAKFAST WITH FRIENDS has never been as wholesome as it was at Brewsters Road Crew’s AWAKEN: The Ultra Premium Breakfast Event, which began at 3 a.m. Sunday.

This year’s event was held at Kendal Sporting, St Philip, which turned out to be a suitable space for the 400-plus patrons who turned out.

One of the directors of Brewsters Road Crew, Richell Husbands, said the decision to move from their former location of Golden Grove Plantation to Kendal Sporting was an inspired one.

awaken-ultra-3“We wanted to change up the whole outlook of the venue and offer people a different and improved package … and that’s when Kendal Sporting came to mind and it has fallen in perfectly,” she said.

Just like last year, the event went well past its 10 a.m. shut-off time, as patrons savoured the wide range of breakfast foods as well as the extremely popular roasted breadfruit and premium drinks, all while enjoying the selections of DJ music and live entertainment by local artistes. (SM)
