PHOTOS OF FUN-FILLED LAST DAYS at primary school turned into a memorial for 11-year-old Abijah Holder yesterday.
The tone of the Welches Primary School’s Facebook page switched from one of merriment to sombre reflection, with a burning candle profile picture bearing the cryptic RIP.
Within hours of his graduation on Friday Abijah, who was would have entered Queen’s College in September, was killed in a car crash on the Tom Adams section of the ABC Highway in Christ Church.
Earlier posts of Abijah and his 34 classmates were of celebration as the St Thomas school bid farewell to its former charges in a ceremony at the 3Ws Oval at the University of the West Indies. (AC)
