FATHERS and their families were out in their numbers yesterday to celebrate.
Some men took to churches to be blessed and reminded of their important roles in society, while others spent a few hours indulging their taste buds with the fare that was on offer at a number of restaurants.
At the Democratic Labour Party’s headquarters, in George Street, St Michael, the theme for the Father’s Day lunch was Keeping Families Together.
Coordinator Astor B. Watts said it was an annual event started in the wake of the death of the Right Excellent Errol Barrow.
