OPENER KRAIGG BRATHWAITE delivered for CounterPoint Wanderers yesterday when the first round of matches in the Barbados Cricket Association’s Elite Division got underway at various venues.
Brathwaite scored 172 not out off 197 balls and featured in a 216-run unbeaten third-wicket partnership with Rashon Primus who scored 119.
Wanderers declared on 342 for two and immediately had BDFSP under pressure on 63 for two.
There was also a big score at 3Ws Oval where an eighth-wicket partnership of 128 by Alston Bobb (92 not out) and Darnel Greenidge (75) took Brathwaite’s Construction/Crane Resort St Catherine from 184 for seven to 333 all out against Sagicor UWI.
