GOVERNMENT IS LOOKING to the private sector to play a pivotal role in the island’s economic recovery and reform agenda.
Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler said yesterday that both the private and public sectors must come up with an initiative to ensure higher level of productivity and competitiveness in the island.
In an effort to encourage entrepreneurship and the expansion of the private sector, Sinckler said burdensome regulations and bottlenecks must be removed so as not to frustrate those who seek to take risks.
