HOW MUCH closer can it get?
Just ten points separated the winner and second spot among the Under-15 girls in the last Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Junior Multi-Event Trials concluded at the National Stadium Sunday.
It was too close to call going into the 1 000 metres, which was the final leg of the heptathlon, but a fifth place finish which gave her 329 points, saw Akayla Morris hold off the determined Charissa Moore of BC Trac to claim the event with 3 857 points from Moore’s 3 847.
