LIME spin out St Catherine

OFF-SPINNERS Daley Hurley and Michael Agard Jr decimated Brathwaite’s Construction/Crane Resort St Catherine to earn LIME a berth in the semi-finals of the 2015 Sagicor General Twenty20 cricket tournament.

Hurley took four for 19 and Agard Jr two for 15 as LIME easily won by 66 runs in the first quarter-final at Kensington Oval tonight.

They spun the Bayfield men out for 115 for nine after LIME had amassed 181 for five.

For LIME, Cyprian Payne and Randy Thomas scored 46 and 42, respectively, while Mario Rampersad (47) and captain Omar Phillips (35) batted well in a losing effort for St Catherine.

Tomorrow night at 7, Sagicor UWI will take on Police in the second quarter-final.
