MINISTER OF EDUCATION Ronald Jones says students performed “reasonably” well in this year’s Common Entrance Exam.
Speaking at a Press conference to announce the results this morning, Jones said he was satisfied that the 3 481 students did their best and encouraged parents to continue to support them as they go into secondary school.
As far as the transition to their new environment is concerned, Jones said the children were generally prepared for this next phase and that the Ministry of Education will be aiding schools in identifying what challenges the children have, so that teaching and learning could be done more effectively.
