Harris expects closer election

THE FIFA elections will not be a foregone conclusion.

So says Barbados Football Association (BFA) president Randy Harris, who thinks there is a shift away from Sepp Blatter, who is seeking a fifth successive term as president of world football.

Speaking to the WEEKEND NATION last night from Switzerland, Harris hinted that today’s eagerly awaited elections could be closer following this week’s massive bribery and corruption scandal engulfing the world governing body.
