Barbados Tridents put on an exciting football master class in a 4-0 away victory over United States Virgin Islands (USVI) Golden Jaguars in the Concacaf Nations League on Tuesday evening in St Croix.
The victory puts Tridents atop Group A in League C on goal difference with nine points, ahead of Cayman Islands, who edged St Martin 1-0 at home in the other Group A fixture on Tuesday.
Tridents had won the first leg 1-0 last week.
Omani Leacock gave the Tridents lift-off at the Bethlehem Sporting Complex just before the 20- minute mark and second-half goals by returning captain Rashad Jules, Armando “Sugar” Lashley and 28-year-old debutant Zico Phillips secured an important three points for the away side. (NM)
