Gully theme strikes gold at Chelsea

BARBADOS has copped another gold – No. 17 in 28 appearances – at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show in England.

This year the Barbados Horticultural Society chose Gully Adventure as its theme, recreating a Barbadian gully in the middle of London.

The team, which left Barbados last Wednesday accompanied by 62 large boxes, included leader Jenny Weetch, president Orson Daisley, Wayne Ramsay, John Leach and Etwyn Humphrey-Blackett, ably assisted by Sally Miller, Jacqueline Ferdinand and Trevor Hunte.
