THE MINISTRY of Education has agreed to the immediate fogging of the St George Secondary School and surrounding districts to address the rapid increase in the number of mosquitoes detected in that area.

As a result, the school, located at Constant, St George, will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20. Parents and guardians will be notified of any extension to the period.

The Ministry has also advised that students scheduled to write the CXC CSEC Mathematics examination tomorrow, May 20, must report to the Examinations Section of the Ministry, Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St. Michael, where the exam will be administered.

The CSEC Accounts examination on Thursday, May 21, will also be held at that location.

Students must report to the Ministry by 8:30 a.m. on those days.

The Ministry regrets any inconvenience caused as a result of the closure of the school. (BGIS)
