IT WAS a day of bowling, bumper car rides and hamburgers for over 150 Class 4 students yesterday.

The children, from Deacons, St Stephen’s and Eagle Hall Primary schools, were feted by parliamentary representative for the area Christopher Sinckler at the Casa Grande Hotel.

Sinckler revealed the all-day event was a fun day for the children who recently sat the Common Entrance Examination. It also gave the teachers from the three schools a chance to mingle with each other.
