FACEBOOK AND THE INTERNET are the new causes behind increased fights among girls in the bus terminals.

This from recently appointed Registrar of the Supreme Court, and former Juvenile Court magistrate, Barbara Cooke-Alleyne, who spoke to the SATURDAY SUN earlier this week after  the opening ceremony of the Criminal Justice Research and Planning Unit’s (formerly the National Task Force on Crime Prevention) In the Winners’ Circle 2015.

The event on Tuesday, the eighth so far, brought together Class 4 students from Sharon Primary and Welches Primary at the Cave Hill campus of the University of the West Indies, where they were counselled on bullying, drug awareness and their sexual and reproductive health.
