THE NEXT MAN up says he can fill the void.

Don’t worry about Rahiim Gibbons’ confidence heading into this summer’s Caribbean Basketball Confederation’s Championships as the Burger King Clapham Bulls guard believes he’s ready for a greater role if called upon.

Gibbons’ comments came in light of the shocking news that overseas-based point guard André Lockhart declined an invitation to trials this week.

“I’m always ready for a challenge and I have more confidence now that I can showcase my skills at that level,” said the 24-year-old floor general.
