Charged with drug offences

A WOMAN is scheduled to appear in court today to answer drug charges.

Jamaican Suelan Yvonne Holness reportedly passed out 34 packages of cannabis weighing two pounds at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital this week.

She is charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation.

Holness arrived in Barbados by air from Jamaica on Monday. She was interviewed by Police and referred to Customs where a package of cannabis was found on her. She was referred to the Hospital.

Holness is scheduled to appear in the District A Magistrates Court today. (PR/SAT)
