THE TEA WAS SCRUMPTIOUS; the line dancers were agile with wellcoordinated movements executed by amateurs on the spur of the moment and MC Shellaine Bourne kept things moving at the annual tea party hosted by Cancer Support Services.

The affair at the Barbados Yacht Club attracted eager patrons, some of whom are journeying with the dreaded disease. Everyone who turned out defied heavy rains on the afternoon to faithfully support the worthwhile effort and they were in turn rewarded with prizes and a bill of entertainment that kept spirits high and laughter flowing.

Proceeds from the annual event assist people journeying with cancer, enabling Cancer Support services to provide them with food vouchers, medication and counselling services.
