ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH EXPERTS contracted to investigate what has been making Combermere students and staff sick have found “chemicals in trace quantities that indicate the possible impact of sewer gases and possibly natural gas” at the school.
And based on these and other findings of its recent Indoor Air Quality Assessment And Odour Investigation, REA Envirohealth International has recommended further investigations.
Its final report was obtained by the MIDWEEK NATION yesterday on the first day of the new school term when about ten Combermere students fell ill and returned home, while some teachers also complained of feeling unwell.
