THE ACTION IS HEATING up in the annual BICO Primary School’s Football Competition that has now reached the play-off second-round stage.
West Terrace, who were runners-up in Zone 2, blanked Hillaby Turners Hall 6-0 to go to the top of Group 3C in a match at Briar Hall, Christ Church, earlier this week.
In that same group, Bayleys beat Cuthbert Moore 2-0 while at Blenheim, Hilda Skeene blanked Milton Lynch 5-0 behind a Shakerie Mottley hattrick, while St Stephen’s and Deacons drew 1-1 in 2B.
In Monday’s matches, St Gabriel’s beat Charles F. Broome 3-0 and Wesley Hall drew 1-1 in 1A, while in 4D, St Gabriel’s beat Charles F. Broome 3-0 and Ellerton edged Luther Thorne 1-0.
The other teams advancing are All Saints, Roland Edwards, St Elizabeth, Wesley Hall, Arthur Smith and Deacons. (SAT)
