Contact, krosfyah part ways

THE 15-YEAR LINK between the Contact Crop-Over band and soca band krosfyah has been disconnected.
Leader of the LIME-sponsored band, Anthony Layne, told the SATURDAY SUN there was no issue between the two parties.
“Contact and krosfyah still have an excellent relationship. krosfyah made a business decision,” Layne said.
The break in partnership means that revellers will jam from Warrens to Spring Garden to DJ music. Layne did not give anything else away, except to say there was some “stuff in the works”.
Manager of krosfyah Michael Agard also confirmed the separation and revealed that the band would be playing mas with Powerx4 this Crop-Over.
He too gave the assurance that there was no falling out or bad blood between krosfyah and Contact.
“We’re still on good terms . . . . And there was no affiliation with Digicel. Nothing so,” Agard stated.
Contact unveiled its 2010 costumes and various activities at their official launch at Kensington Oval last night. (YB)
