Body washes ashore

Police are investigating the death of a man whose body washed ashore at Miami Beach yesterday morning.Public relations officer Inspector David Welch said the unidentified man was pulled from the water around 7:40 a.m.He said that police received a call on Tuesday evening that a man went swimming at Enterprise Beach in Christ Church, but had not been seen since. A search was made but nothing was discovered.The man, who is estimated to be between 40 and 45 years old, is of dark complexion, has thick bongos (matted hair), is of slim built, with a grey and black beard, bulbous nose, and about 5 feet 8 inches tall.At the time of his discovery, he was wearing an imitation camouflage pants and was bareback.Anyone having any idea who the deceased is should contact Oistins Police Station at 418-2612.
