Husbands felt that the Soca Royale champion had a very good chance of taking the Road March with Foot On Fire, or his collaboration with Mikey might really have the Whole Place Mash Up.“Blood may take away everything this year”. This is according to popular deejay Larry Larry T Tull. He said that both Blood’s popular party tunes were well suited to the road because of their faster pace. Larry T added that though this year would be a “close call”, Go Down still stood a good chance because people were not “getting tired” of it.Bandleader of Colorz Entertainment, Brian Worrell, echoed the sentiments of the others. While he declined to say whether he believed Blood’s win changed his luck, he said that in his opinion Blood “just has the better song”.Artiste and deejay Tyson Verseewild Wilson said that he always had faith in Foot On Fire even before it won the Party Monarch. He added that Go Down should not be underestimated and he expected it would do “very well”. Vincentian Soca Monarch Skinny Fabolous’ smash hit is also expected to Charge Up revellers on Monday.Mackie Holder of the band Wednesday 2000 said that he believed last year’s monarch Edwin was “making a run for it” with Chrissening but it was still a “pretty open race”.
