RECENTLY A YOUNG MAN by the name of Roger Husbands, who works with a youth organisation, did some research and from his findings he declared that we have gangs here in Barbados.
Well, a few vociferous persons (one lawyer in particular) took him to task, wanting proof and all kinds of things as to his findings.
A few days ago, Magistrate Faith Marshall-Harris confirmed that we do have gangs here, naming some of them.
Is it because Husbands is a “little person” in society that he was not taken seriously?
I hope he feels vindicated, now that this matter has been put to rest by the “goodly” magistrate and that he continues his good work.
