Knowing God makes the difference, according to a convinced Julian Adams. And Adams says that he knows what it feels like when God has a plan for your life. What he also knows is that there is nothing else to do but follow that plan. Adams, a singer and bass guitarist, has always had a love for singing. In fact, he used to travel around the world singing on cruise ships and even in hotels. “I always loved to sing and I always wanted to do it as a career,” he said. Now, singing is still at the forefront in his life, but with one slight change. Someone else is in charge.
“I am singing for God now. I got saved at a concert and realised that God had better plans for my life,” Adams said. The devoted Christian admitted that he was now on fire for God and did not miss his previous life. Adams now sings strictly Christian music, and has even written some songs for himself. Blessings Coming Down, Spread The Word Around and Music Is My Thing are three of the songs he has written, and he revealed that “I am looking to do a CD next year”. He is already going forward with his career, having performed his songs at Gospelfest – the Sunset Concert – this year.
The devoted husband and father of three has no intentions of looking back. He believes that through his music he can “lead souls” to Christ. “My mission statement is to help people become followers of Christ. “If that is all I do, I have accomplished a lot,” he said.by Davandra BABB
